We are going to get out of our seats on Sunday, April 21st,  and serve our community! We will have our regular service times of 9:00 & 10:30 am, followed by a picnic meal at 11:30, and head out into the community serving together! Below are the opportunities you can register for!

Check them out and then come back here to register!

Serve Day Registration

Sleep In Heavenly Peace - Sleep in Heavenly Peace seeks to help children in need sleep better. Partnering with Menomonie Lions, we will sponsor and build 25 beds.

Beds with bedding are given kids age 3 through 17 at no cost to them.

Work includes sanding, prepping beds for fastening, and staining.

Wakanda Park, Lions Club Shed located near the elk | 1 p.m. | Open to all ages. Age 12 and under must partner with an adult.

Rotary Feeds - Rotary Feeds’ mission is to reduce the number of hungry children in the USA and to feed starving children throughout the world.

Menomonie Rotary Club, Alliance Church, and Cedarbrook Church are partnering to collectively pack 20,000 rice-based meals for our community. Work includes standing, some lifting, measuring, and sealing meals. Hair nets or baseball hats, beard nets, and gloves are required.

Alliance Church Gymnasium | 1 p.m. & 2:45 p.m. | Open to all ages. Age 11 and under must partner with an adult.

Blessing our First Responders - As a thank you to the men and women who serve us day and night, volunteers will assemble small gift bags for first responders in local communities.

Even the smallest volunteers can help by coloring cards that go with bags. Open to all ages!

Cedarbrook Church Lobby | 1 p.m. | Open to all ages. Age 11 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

Habitat for Humanity - Help build a home for a local family in need.

Volunteers will help onsite with current building tasks. The work may be indoors or outdoors. Wear work clothing and gloves. No tools or experience required.

The Drawer - This organization provides warmth and dignity to those in need through gifts of new socks and underwear. Homeless and underprivileged men, women, and children are often forced to re-wear these items when they lack the resources for new ones. Volunteers will bundle new socks and underwear for distribution.

The Moose Lodge | 1 p.m. | Open to all ages. Age 11 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

BINGO with Seniors - Menomonie had many nursing homes and assisted living facilities with residents who love to have visitors.

Help bring joy to residents by playing BINGO with them. This is a great activity for young volunteers—residents love to have children visit. Play at facilities in Menomonie. Open to all ages.

Various senior living facilities | 1 p.m. | Open to all ages. Age 11 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
