Remy, and his wife Lisa, started Cedarbrook Church in 2003 with 20 people and the financial support of Valleybrook Church and the Menomonie Alliance Church. The church started at the movie theater just down the road, moved to the Shops Off Broadway in 2006, and to its current location in 2010 after raising the funds for the land and building. Remy was the lead pastor until he turned his role over to Pastor Kyle in 2018, and took on the role of teaching pastor for his last two years on staff. He left Cedarbrook Church in 2020 and moved to Minneapolis where he and Lisa live. Remy continues as the "minister at-large" for Cedarbrook, often traveling to other countries to teach in churches and the Acts29 discipleship schools. He returns to Cedarbrook now and then to speak.
